Terrible weather

We have had blizzard conditions all day here.

The horrible northwest winds are sooo strong and brutal.

Roads are closed all around south central KS area.

I am glad to have barns for all the horses to go in. I have been out a couple times making sure

they are doing okay. Lots of hay for them today.

Bummer of a Christmas this year.

I pray for everyones safety this Chistmas.

I read REO's post. What a mess down in OK also.

The snow hit central Missouri about 5 am. Lotsa wind but not terribly slick here (at least daughter made it to the hospital to bring SIL home). Will breath a little easier when she calls and says they're home. Stay safe everyone.....it's moving eastward.

I feel your pain. We are in a blizzard here, too, in Nebraska. My husband worked an 18 hour shift so he could come home before the worst of the weather struck. Besides a few hours power outage, we're doing okay and all of the animals are hayed up and bedded down. I'm going out in a minute to check everyone and dole out the candy canes. My brother in MN has 36 degree weather and right now that sounds nice. Y'all keep warm and stay home and do your best to have a merry Christmas, Erika
