Texas football

What a game! I'm pretty much a fairweather football fan, has to be a home team and a good game for me to get excited about it, but this one takes the cake! Vince Young ran one in the last few seconds to beat USC and win the championship for UT.

Holy cow!!! That's great!!! Everyone was saying that USC had it in the bag before the game even started.

I was working and came home for the end of it. Looked like a pretty exciting game! Though my husband is a big USC fan so needless to say he wasn't too happy.

I didn't make it to the end.

When I'm working days, I have to get up at 4AM, so I was pretty tired and fell asleep sometime in the 3rd quarter.

What I did see was one heck of a football game. Both teams gave it all they had.

Not sure why, but for some reason, I think I still enjoyed the '03 and '04 seasons' Championship games more...

I was pretty tired after staying up The watch the Penn/Florida Stat game Tues and had to get up early Wed. I made it till 11:00 when USC went ahead 38-26. Darn I wish I had stayed up for the rest of the game. Yea....Texas...

This is probably the first time in my life I actively cheered for the 'Horns (I'm an Aggie fan) but I'm so glad they beat Southern Cal. Vince Young impressed the heck out of me not only with his football skills but primarily for his team leadership ability.

Also, as a Texan fan I'm not too sure we should waste the first round pick on Reggie Bush. He showed me jack.

I guess...I can be happy for the t-sips. If an Aggie is going to be beat, at least be beat by the best. I'm still a little irritated that they beat us at home though. :no:

What a great game! But how sleepy am I today! I was rooting for Texas (what can I say I'm a Hank Hill fan) and Carl for USC.

Now we're already planning which in which room to watch the Olympics and Nascar as we love both! Course we will Tivo all Nascar as always anyway. Maxine

This was the only college football I watched this year and it was great. I could not believe my eyes watching Vice Young just run thru their line. What a career he has ahead of him. Even thou Young didn't receive the Heisman, he got the best revenge by beating USC.
