Ok, the sun is out and our temps are actually starting to climb up :bgrin but the best part is I wasnt the clutz (sp) that I was yesterday! :bgrin It was horrible when I went to the barn in the morning- -my aisles are always clean and no clutter sitting around. So because of this darn cold snap--I put almost everyone in the barn (some stayed in the small barn) so to do that I had to clean out 2 stalls which I just use for hay/straw/bedding/ grain/buckets..and all the other needed things.

: Where did I put everything --into the aisle.

..well, it was more important to get the "kids" in where it was warmer, even if they did double up!) Not thinking I go to start feeding, I'm mixing a pail of beet pulp/grain, step back -trip over a 2nd pail of soaked beet pulp/grain mix, get myself up--get my foot caught in a hay feeder rack, down I go a second time.OUCH--I was aching! We have cement floors! Ok, get everyone fed..go to do the hay, a BIGG red stray cat, is sitting there hissing at me, scared the crap out of me, wasnt expecting that--and almost went down again. OK..done in the big barn! Go and grab my trusty pooper fork, a 5 gal pail of water, and a 2 gal pail of beet pulp/grain mix..I'm all set, out I go heading to the small barn, dear sweet darling hubby, Bob, was going to be nice and plowed me a path with the skidsteer, well-the NICE clean path turned into ice,

: and what did I do--yup, down I go AGAIN, only this time it was freezing cold outside, and I got a very cold bath from the water, and me--well, I looked like a piece of walking beet pulp. I REALLLLLYYYY want summer to get here! Am I the only clutzy one on the forum???? My bones are really aching today! Corinne

My husband always says, I'm an accident to happen. :new_shocked:

But better you than me SORRY :aktion033: :aktion033:

:saludando:

Oh Corrine, you poor baby! Sounds like doofus material to me! :aktion033:

:new_shocked: HECK, IF I DON'T FALL ONCE A WEEK, IT HAS REALLY BEEN A GOOD WEEK FOR ME. SEEMS LIKE THE OLDER I GET THE EASIER IT IS. ESPECIALLY WHEN WALKING THROUGH MUCK, OR ICE, OR FROZEN HOOFY PRINTS. OUR MINIS GET KINDA PUSHY WITH EACH OTHER AT FEEDING TIME AND THEY FORGET THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO PUSH ME ESPECIALLY IN THE SLIPPERY MUD. NOPE YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY KLUTZY ONE. HUBBY TELLS ME HE CAN'T LEAVE ME ALONE.

: WELL HE WORKS SECOND SHIFT, SO I DO THE HORSES AT NIGHT BY MYSELF.

:  . Remember your turn could be next for having a klutzy day :bgrin you got the snow and ice and cold weather that is all that is really needed, very easy to do.... :bgrin Corinne

Oh my gosh... do I ever know how you feel. This could've been me in December, right down to the skidsteer-created ice sheet. Yep, doofus material for sure, don't I know it. Epsom Salt baths do help soothe the bruises. :bgrin

Well I havent done chorse in a long time as my horses are not with me, however was doing them the other night at my aunts getting ready for the two week stay and watching of the place. Thankfully most of the horses are in one barn, however there are some as well as some of the other animals at the other end in there respective pens.

Never had that happen, and we always have stuff in our isles. That said I have almost been knocked down carrying hay out to very hungery(obese pregger mares who think they are starveing)mares. And if I do happen to go down they all look at my like "what did we do"
