I just wanted to give Deb a public thanks for her help with my Faith. When I first brought her home, we'd named her Chloe. Deb sent me a PM saying "things" but it never really clicked that she was "reading" her until she said "She says her name is Faith". I got chills. I never really was interested in having a reading done by Bonnie, or anyone else. Mainly because I was afraid of what they'd say, LOL (I'm super critical on myself, so I think my animals should be as well). Most of what Deb first told me could be seen from the pictures. She likes my kids, she was "achy", and a few others at first. But when she mentioned the name, that really got me.

The next morning Deb "talked" to Faith again. She mentioned that one of my dogs kinda scares her. LOL, that's my inside dog, Princess. She's calmed down a lot this past week, but she's aggressive when she thinks she's protecting me. Faith had been around dogs at her old "home", but they didn't bark at her. However, I'd never even mentioned Princess here on the forum when I talked about Faith. That really caught my attention.

Last night I sent Deb another PM. Faith has a VERY sore shoulder. I couldn't even brush my hand across her shoulder without her jumping and dancing around. She doesn't even want me picking up that foot because of the pain. I spent everything I had to get her out of that situation, so unless it's an emergency, the vet is out of the question for now (no swelling or limping, just sore, I thought it was sore muscle or something like that). Anyhow, I'd gotten her some Absorbine Jr to put on her muscles, but I knew she was touchy about her shoulder so I asked Deb to let her know that I don't mean to hurt it, just to try and hold still while I try to help her. Deb "read" her again and worked on her shoulder for quite a while. She said she doesn't think it's fractured, just badly bruised. She said that Faith was under saddle when she fell and landed on a rock. Well, the day that I picked her up, they told me that the lady was riding her and Faith "laid down" with her on her back, hurting the woman. She didn't lay down, she fell, the poor thing. Their property is nothing but trees and rocks, so I don't doubt that she fell on a rock.

Faith is doing a LOT better now. She let me put the medicine on her shoulder without a problem and I even got that hoof picked out a little (after telling her that a pretty lady like her don't want stinky feet, LOL). I don't expect her to be perfect overnight, but I really feel like Deb helped her out a LOT and I wanted to thank her for that. If she volunteers information that no one else may know, you don't have to believe it, but I won't be doubting anymore. There's only one other thing that I'd like to know, about when Faith was a weanling, but we may never know that for sure.

There are others who have helped tremendously with Faith, including Mary Bennett. Thank you all! I'll post some new pictures tomorrow, as a weekly update of sorts.

ok now you are giving me chills. years ago i had a gal read a goat for me and it was awesome, she told me things she couldn't have known that i had not told her...

we brought a miniature mule into our rescue about 5 years ago and we know some history on her, she has come a long way but it is a very slow progress and we have so far to go... is there some way for someone to talk TO her, to let her know that we will never let anyone hurt her again? every time we have to worm or give shots or trim hooves, we lose ground. but those are necessary things for her health... i don't want to say much because i was told not to clutter the mind of the empath or reader (sorry not sure even what they are called). any information would be much appreciated.

Steph I thank you very much. :aktion033: Your Faith is a special girl. When I looked at her picture I just heard in my head "My name was Faith", so I had to tell you as well as congratulate you on getting her safe. Then as we chatted more came along.

First I must say I can't do what Bonnie does. I can't read and/or communicate like she she does. I can't diagnose a problem usually but can work on one that is known. Sometimes when I work that trouble I can feel another but that's all I can do at this time. I'm more of an empathic helper/healer. I can "feel". I can't tell you about her foal times or anything else personal just what I get from an animal in the now of it's life. But I figure that's pretty cool.

I use my Reiki and some "thing"

: that is just in me. I always get names. Sometimes I get a bit more but it is in pictures not the horse talking to me. The second time I felt Faith she was worrying about "that" dog so I mentioned it. Oh, I talk to them and Steph mentioned the shoulder and foot issue so I worked on that area one nite and she filled my head with pictures of a "big lady" and her going down and it hurt and she was bad.

So I just did my "thing" and Reikied her and assured her she was in a heaven on earth and Stephie just wanted to help and fix her boo boo with medicine. Hopefully today she'll let Steph lift the foot a bit more. When you do this Steph, her should muscles tense and it ouchs so lift it as little as possible but I bet she'll let you pick it out today.

I love a happy story. After poor Mary, knowing Faith is mending fills me with a glow.

Thank you again, so much Deb! I'll bet you'll have a ton of pm's and emails after this, LOL. You may not be able to do what Bonnie does, but I'd never had a reading done by Bonnie so your pm's gave me chills. After it warms up a bit and she has her breakfast, I'll give that foot another go. I even hate trying to clean it because I know it hurts her and I don't like hurting her, but it needs cleaned out. She has thrush in all 4 feet, it's not bad yet, but I want to keep them cleaned so it don't get bad.

About when she was a weanling, if anyone's interested. When I first went to look at her, the people claimed that they got her from another "rescue". Faith and her dam were both beaten very badly and the dam died. They said that when they got Faith, she was extremely bloody and they didn't think she would live. I don't really believe them, but it's just something that I'd like to know. They say that there's scarring on Faith, but I have yet to find any scarring except on her backbone from rainrot and saddle sores. She does have some strange lumps on her neck and back legs, but who knows what they're from.

I do talk to my animals like they're people. My house dog understands everything that I tell her (or at least she pretends to, LOL). When I let her out, I have to tell her to "go to the pot" or she won't do anything, LOL. I've gotten her to eat dog treats that she don't like by telling her that there were starving dogs in Ethiopia that would love to have those treats  I figure that I can't speak their language, so they learn to speak mine. We talk to Faith a LOT. I tell her everything that I'm doing, and then some. When I told her that pretty ladies didn't want stinky feet, my girls laughed at me. But I was trying to clean out her back hooves and she was getting edgy about it. After I talked to her, she let me get it done without a problem. Everyone here has a middle name or a nickname. I haven't gotten one for Faith yet, but give me time. My house dog goes by Princess, Runt, Gertrude, whatever I'm in the mood for, LOL. That's something that my mom has always done, and it's rubbed off on me. Usually only us here know what the nicknames are. Kinda like having a pet name for your husband or wife.

Thank you again, Deb. You've been a lifesaver in this situation, especially with her shoulder

Deb your messages meant so much to me during this last week.

thank you so much

Kay you are welcome, I just wish we could have worked a miracle. Mary was an angel here on earth, I can't believe she survived for 9 mos whith her cleft palate and throat defect. I think she was waiting for you so she could know the softness and love she had been denied in her end. Now she is an angel and my Treasure and she will no doubt be running the fields.

Steph, thanks, Faith is pretty special, those pics of her show what a sweet soul she is. Keep up the great work!
