The dog Rocky stomped

Well, we took her to the animal shelter today. The stray Rocky found They did a good job of making us feel guilty about it too. The lady at the desk reminded us that it had been ONLY 2 days and asked if we ran an ad in the paper for her. No we didn't, Beacuse we only had her for 2 days!!

So, Loren wants her back and I don't blame him. :no: She was a good girl and we will miss her. I will call in a few days and see what is going on with her.

STOMPER UPDATE!!!!!

I am in contact with my friend in New Hampshire who placed Pete for me. She is working on getting Stomper out of the shelter and transported to NH where she will place her. It is a long ride, but I think it is a good idea. Melissa is a relentless good home finder. :aktion033:

I think she looks like a Bernese Mountain Dog. Whatever the breed, she's a very nice looking dog.

The best dog I ever had looked exactly like her. Her mom was a shepard/llapso apso cross, her dad was a chocolate lab. She looked like a mini Rot. Smartest dog I ever had. Broke my heart when she died.

I would take her in a minute if the dog I have now was not dog aggressive. No way would I touture the dog I have now with another dog she is so jealous.

I also think she is a Bernese Mountain Dog. At first I thought Rotti mix as well, however after closely looking at the pictures she does indeed look like a Bernese Mountain Dog.

I hope she finds a good home and if I didnt have 2 (German Shepard & Mix Breed) house dogs now I would have had her shipped to me! She is adorable!

actually I was thinking a swissy they have a bit shorter coat and a similar look to the bernese........................

and AHHHHHHHH I wish I would have known before she went to shelter I might have been able to help...I have tons of rescue rehoming contacts here in washington.

If she were a Bernese Mountain Dog, she'd be a puppy still.......They are BIG dogs. They also have slightly longer coats with a wave to them. Same coloring though.

She went to a no-kill shelter. I would never have taken her to a real pound. :no:
