We didn't get a letter stating what our all star win was, but we did get one asking us if we wanted to advertise our all star in the journal. We had to go to the AMHR website and find out what we won. No the journal hasn't arrived here yet, but hopefully soon.

No Journal yet.... But yes we did get some sort of All Star Letter,

didn't show the placings, if you wanted one like that you had to contact them to send one out. You can go to the website to view the placings there.

Well shoot I might have just gotten bumped off the list. I saw that my horse placed 10th in ammy halter obstacle, under but their might have been a mistake and I got bumped down and thus the reason I haven't received anything.

I hope we will get the Journal soon since this is the National edition, pretty soon we should be expecting the next issue to come out lol.

I've been watching those All Star placings change on the web. I've got two horses that placed in All Stars and haven't received any letters! The Journal is late but that's been discussed here before.

Re they not sending out the Champion & Reserve Champion ALL Star certificates then for 2008??

No letters, no Journal here in Kentucky. Got a letter wanting us to advertise in The Journal for our All Star placings.

Well I just received my World mag. today. Makes AMHA 2 issues ahead then AMHR.

I have read that the person who does the magazine is having her own issues, I competely understand, but is the Journal's responsibility given to 1 person? Is their not more?

I will continue watching for my letter then just incase.

Everyone might have missed the thread where the editor let everyone know that the Journal would be late. This is due to a few people showed some horses that were not qualified for Nationals and they placed. There was re-tabulation of the placings. The journal went to press late, not due to the editor, but because of the placings issue.

Yes,the results had to be changed for some classes, and there were ads that had to be changed/redone, so I can certainly see why it's taking some time for this magazine to come out.

No complaints from me....good things come to those who wait!

from my understanding some of the horses that where said not qualified was qualified... but you do know how stories get bigger with time and more is added to it. so we will just have to wait to see. I dont think it should be a subject that should be keep at a hush hush thing..and i dont think that it will be... so we will just see...

but i do have to agree with others it is just b/s about the journal. when i called AMHR they did say it was also late due to Amy having a car wreck. I am sorry but it seems like the money that is paid in each year by us then we should get it on time. I bet they would not like it to much if we did not send in our dues on time. i just might try it and see what happens. i will tell them well i was in a car wreck too i dont think that they would care to much as lomg as their money is in on time..

so it should be the same with them getting our stuff out on time too.

I have forgotten about the people not qualifying issue that happened at Nationals.

All I could remeber was that the editor was having personal issues and was making the Journal delay like it has in the past but I wouldn't have been mad at the editor but at AMHR for not stepping up and putting more people on the project. Afterall it is our only source of news in AMHR. And we pay for it.

Oh boy....Amy's car wreck had nothing to do with making the Journal late and in fact, SAVED the Journal and the Association THOUSANDS of dollars. Had Amy not had the accident the Journal would have been printed and then would have had to make corrections that came in AFTERWARDS.

PLEASE, let's all just wait patiently for it instead of blaming "the editor" for it being late all the time. We're lucky we even have it.

Good Lord...It is just a Magazine...I think that people can survive without it for a few more days or weeks...It will come when it comes...I think there are bigger problems in life to worry about than a silly magazine being late...

Oh boy that is right

i did have to step back for a second on this one

yes Amy had a car wreck and she is having some family problems with her dad i can understand that. but when you call the AMHR they did say part of it was from the wreck and the other part was from the nationals. so here we go. the story one person gets and somebody else just seems to be getting bigger as we speak. yes i am mad that i did not get my copy of the journal in Dec. but if the AMHR would of done their home work we would not be having this problem. as you said blaming the editor. then who do we blame?????? is it us as owners, trainers or showmangers but not the AMHR. because they do everything Right.......... i dont think so.............

yes i pay my dues just like you and others so yes i think we should have it on time. and yes they should do their homework. the only people that you can put blame on is the AMHR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR NOT DOING THEIR HOMEWORK. AND I WILL NOT SET BACK AND BE HUSH HUSH ABOUT IT

To us in AMHR it isn't just a silly magazine. It is our only source of news when it comes to AMHR, unfortuantly. This edition is rather important it contains everything that happened at Nationals and what happened at Convention. I am one that actually enjoys sitting down and read the information and not just look at the pretty pictures.

Yes there are bigger problems in life, everyone has problems. This Journal would have been on time if it weren't for the happenings that when on at Nationals which most of us still don't know what happened and I hope they will say something about it in the Journal and not hide from it.

i am sorry about what happen out at nationals but if the amhr would of done their homework this would of not happen.. yes i am a member but they let stuff fall though the cracks.............. long but need to be said
