Just had to take these pics of my hubby coming back with the mail yesterday, Smudge followed him all the way out and all the way back.

Aw that is so cute! At first glance I thought Smudge was a Boston Terrier, then I realized he was a cat! I've never known a cat that likes to takes walks in the snow!

Smudge is cute!

My Nootka used to follow me on cart rides. I picked her up and put her in the cart with me at one point because we were so far from home and I was afraid she would get run over by a car trailing out along behind us in the road so far.

We had other cats that would follow, too. I always wished I had a photo of Nootka, Rowena and two of Rowena's kittens following behind the horse cart. It looked like a little parade!

Thanks everybody, Smudge is a special cat to us, in her eyes she is the Queen and we are all her subjects lol. Whenever we are outside she seems to know and turns up to do whatever it is we are doing.

I use to have a cat named "Simba" when we lived in Russell, Ontario (basically suburbs type of area) who use to come for walks with me and our schnauzer "Shotizie". I would have to try and chase him back when we would walk to the corner store, lol. I miss that cat

. He disappeared a year after we moved here on our own property in Oxford Mills. I swear that cat thought he was a dog.

Danielle Smudge is the "Queen" at least in her mind and we are her very lowly subjects lol. She is a barn cat but she sleeps in the heated workshop at night on her own cushion and she gets on great with all the horses once she has taught them manners lol. She is close to 6 years old and we have had her since she was a kitten, she even rules our dogs.
