Well, my ponies won't make it to Congress this year  The filly fairy was generous this year, but forgot to leave the bag of gold to pay the show fees!

So for those of us who just can't make the trip, let's show off some of those ponies who SHOULD be going! I think my fillies are better, but these photos of my geldings are definitely better photos!

Alpha Farms Magical Debut

This is the first shetland foal out of my herd sire, Buckeye WCF Classical Magic and full brother to the 2006 sabino/overo filly I posted back in May (who should also be going!). He would be in the yearling gelding class

Van-Lo's Jessie James

A Sr Foundation Gelding - recently gelded - and sire to my silver overo filly who is a 1/2 (maternal) sister to Alpha Farms Classical Bobcat owned by "pony girl" .. another filly that should be there!

They both look very nice and i like them both! I'd love to have Jessie James as you already know, really wish i had room on my show string for a classic sr gelding.

Does Magical Debut have Royal Red Viking in his pedigree as well? I think your boy is related to my Royal Salsa. I think you said that the filly posted a while back had Royal Red Viking in her pedigree.

Well, here is my classic sr gelding ..Royal Salsa. He has a very nice first show season this year but no congress for us. If congress has jumping classes i will take him next year which brings me to my question ..does congress have jumping classes? Royal is 38'' so im tempted to hardship him R just so we can show jumping with him lol.

He is also a grandson of Royal Red Viking!

Yup - you can tell

: Debut is 2x Royal Red Viking on bottom and Graham's Little King Lee x 100% Arenosa on top.

FYI ...Jessie James found a new home - sold him at the show where this photo was taken. Some 4H kids are anxious waiting for him to come home with them! :bgrin

Wow! Talk about a SHOW GELDING extraordinaire Alphahorses! Very nice ponies... to bad none of them are going to Congress...

I have a weanling Futurity son of Royal Red Viking and a two year old gelding son or Royal Red Viking who should have gone. Alas, having to buy hay ate up all my Congress money..... Pics of both are on my webiste - Platte Royal Nordic Scribe is on the foal page and Oneka's Omega Red is on the Gelding page. http://www.platteridgefarm.com
