Anybody remember the "bread man" or the "milk man"?

We had a bread men that sold bread 5 loaves for $1.00 it was called pixie I think.

I think he sold donuts to.

We also had a guy that sold Linguesa (sp)

No milk man cause I lived on a dairy :bgrin

Boy.. that brings back memories....

: We used to get to ride our horses to school several times a year, the BIG thing every year was our Town Fair, (complete with a parade down Main Street and everything.. :bgrin ) we used to walk downtown to old stores that had wood floors, the movie theater showed one film.. over and over and over again... :bgrin

I lived in a small, slow town back in the '60's and '70's and life was soooo safe. I sure miss that time...
