Those Ribbon Pillows....(Or dress in Erica's case)

I was wondering how did you fasten them all together so nicely? Sewing machine, hand stitched? I am not an avid sewer, so for those of you that have made them, could you show me pictures if you have any.

Im thinking of making them this winter...

I'm not sure if we posted on here before but my mother (Diana on the forum) is making a wall hanging for my daughter out of her ribbons. I can't wait to see it...she is putting pictures of Lizzie in it also.

I made about 5 several years ago. They were pictured in the MHW in the 90's I think. ...............I had typed up the directions for someone but I don't have the info or the pictures in my computer anyymore. I took the Grand Champion & Supreme ribbons, took them apart, ironed them onto some contrasting fabric & covered a pillow form. Use the iron on double sided stuff you buy at fabric stores to fuse the two fabrics together. Sorry can't remember the name............. I don't use the pillows though because the colors don't go well with our interior.
