Our neighbor, Michelle just turned 18. Straight A student, star volley ball player, #1 player on tennis team was in a horrible riding accident 2 days ago and she really needs good thoughts, prayers.

Not clear yet if she fell from the horse or was thrown. But once on the ground the horse kicked, it caught Michelle in the face going from left to right across her face. The kicked knocked out her teeth with the gum attached, she lost her lower lip, her cheek bone, jaw and chin are destroyed, bone wise and most of the skin gone as well. Her nose broke in several places too.

They did a pre surgery thing on her to get rid of bone fragments and to clean it out. Were going to start on the reconstruction yesterday, but her infection is very bad. It is hard to say when they will be able to get to the next surgery. For the most part they have her completely out.

So if you could please keep her and her family in your thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated. She has a very long road ahead of her.

thanks

That is terrible. I am very sorry. prayers on the way for her and you.

It's sad when stuff like this happens while doing what you love.

Oh My gosh- thats horrible!! I am sending prayers her way. Keep us posted on how she is doing please..

Thank you all so much for including a young lady you don't even know in your prayers.

Her condition is the same, the infection is by far the biggest concern right now. They are hoping all the medication takes hold today and she shows signs of improvement.

Thank you all again so very much.

How awful, and I guess there but for the grace of God...... Will keep her in my prayers and hope for a speedy recovery.

Hugs to you
