Hi, I have another idea for protection for his ear canal. You could use a horse slinky that covers his head and neck and sew material over the opening of where his ear shoudl eb to protect it. This would be a lot safer than a halter as material rips very easy. It would be safer than a halter or you coudl put teh fly mask with ears right under the slinky.
