We are in the market for a tractor with a loader. We would like 25-30 hp. Any thoughts? New Holland is offering 0% interested but the model is 17000. We are looking for the price of about 8-10k new or used just a good deal. Any thoughts??? Northern has a Nortrak Tractor but wondering if they are any good.

Any thoughts????

I love my baby Kubota, only 19 horse but cleans lots and does most of the work I need around here, just can't move round bales with it.

I think it depends on how ready/willing/able you are to work on something. If you can work on them, you might find a vintage tractor for a good deal. I mean something from the 60's. The old ones, though, don't have hydrostat transmission, which is sooo easy. I don't think you would be happy with anything less than 30 hp.

We got a Kubota at auction a few years ago. It was a very good deal, but by the time we changed all the fluids and did one minor repair, we had several hundred more dollars in it. Haven't spent a thing since, though, except for regular maintainance.

We love our New Holland, and the payments are only $266 a month

for 5 years.
