This is Tripod, he is a drop off of my younger brothers(18) friend. He is a neutered 3 legged cat. According to the kids story, he crawled up inside a car as a kitten, and got tore up by something in there. He has no hip or leg. But he gets around fine, on furniture and counters. He can scoot pretty fast when he wants to. Was extremly over weight when he came. He seems really happy, and loves our bottle baby kitten Nora

Tonight, he started quivering, and had a really weird look on his face, at first I thought he was having a seizure but then realized, it was his little nubby going crazy! He was 'itching' his ear with his missing leg! It was so gross, and sad and hysterical at the same time. My 9 year old went over and gave him a good scratch and he was much better. But I had heard of phantom limbs before, but never saw it in action!

And your little black kitten is adorable!

But I have to ask, what is the deal with the painting/murals on the floor? Somebody must be VERY talented! Can you do that at my house??

yeah, he seems happy and healthy, but that phantom leg thing just creeped me out! I had never seen him do it! LOL!

The floor is my doing, lets just say, my house is not always 'finished' My house has a lot wrong with it, and the area we are in, if we sell it will get tore down for the land. So when we do projects we really watch cost and use some unconventional stuff, and I paint it.

So my house is one big weird painting. My girls requested the rainbow.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Handsome kitty, and great name. We had a 3 legged kitty named Hop A Long. His leg was lost due to the umbilical cord being wrapped tightly around his leg and it just fell off. His mama was a bit wild and we didn't find the kitties until they were a few days old. Got him to the vet right away and he said at that point there was nothing to do, the leg would just fall off and that is what it did. No infection or problems.

What a pretty cat....he must have a bunch of tales to tell...
