I have put keywords into Yahoo sitebuilder like Happy Valley Miniatures, New Albany, Mississippi, and when I search for Happy Valley Miniatures it doesn't come up on the search engine. I've linked to several sites, and would like to link to lots of others.

Any ideas about how to get my site so come up on search?

Sometimes it takes a bit of time for the search engines to "catch on." I always found it helpful to post in FREE AD websites as they are often at the top of the search lists. Try posting ads for your farm at www.freeads.com www.buybelowcost.com www.sell.com etc., etc., etc.

Once you enter your key words into the search words, it does take awhile before you can actually do a search using those words & come up with your site. Last year when I set our site up, I was busy entering a bunch of key words, and they'd never come up when I did a search. I finally gave up on it & didn't enter any more. Awhile later when I'd check our site stats I was very surprised at the search words people used to come up with our site--words I'd never even entered as key words.

Hey, if you search your name (first, last, state) on answers.com, it comes up with your site. Did you know that??

it does take awhile to get in yahoo search but you will!! also a keyword i found that drove a lot of customers to my site was putting in my location as a keyword. For example before I moved i did keyword "champaign illinois miniature horse breeder" Got two customers last summer because of that! Also keep in mind you should put keywords ON EVERY SINGLE PAGE!! yahoo sitebuilder makes it really easy to put in keywords
