Well, here I am, 50. Lots of good things in life, lots of blessings to count, a few worries and more "big" plans to work for. Certainly don't feel like "slowing down", but not interested in the same things any more, from years ago.

Those little horses are keeping me active and interested, learning and growing.

I figure turning 50 with little horses is a good thing!

How do people without them do it?

I have had a wonderful day. An old friend called and invited me out to lunch and the she came back and went out to the barn with me. I haven't had a friend that wanted to be in the barn for a LONG time, (just another bonus to this relocation we just made) and I was in heaven.

Noel came home early with flowers and came out and helped us groom and visit, and laugh and be silly.

We got some long overdue current pictures of 4 fillies even though they are in their winter woolies.

And fussed and played with our new baby.

What more could a 50yr old lady want who loves her little horses.

Then I didn't cook, threw a couple of frozen pizzas and am about to take a sip of a "brandy slush".

The sun was shining here at last and the temps made 40 something. In wisconsin in January that's a major event in itself.

And now I came on and found all these wonderful "wishes"! :bgrin

I'm a very happy 50 yr old!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND MANY MANY MORE!! I love your attitude by the way - I have a birthday coming up soon and I agree with what you say! Lori

Celebrate good times come on!

Happy birthday, I will be joining you in September. Beats the alternative for sure. I am hoping that 50 finds me minus the majority of my horses so I can have just a few and really have time to enjoy them rather than stress over having too many to take the best care of.

Also, in or working on getting into my own home minus any roomies other than critters. :aktion033: :aktion033:
