Hi all!! Thought I would check in here and let you know how things were going with Tracy and me. She moved here from Maryland last week and moved into my very small apartment...which has been very interesting...LOL! But, actually it has been very "fulfilling" and Tracy has made my life so full of joy and happiness! :bgrin She is a very caring and loving woman and treats me with such love, it amazes me sometimes that she is my partner (based on past relationships, which were very bad!)...how did I get so lucky?? We spend as much time together as possible (just doing "every day" things, like shopping and going to get our hair cut!

: ), enjoy each other's company and always find silly little funny things that we both like (tonight after dinner out at a Mexican restaurant, I picked out an Orange lollipop from a basket when she was paying the bill and then she picked one out and asked me what flavor I picked...we had picked the same one! It was funny (OK, we are pretty dorky...lol)...

Anyway, life is so wonderful with Tracy here and I have never been happier!!

(Just an FYI, she has a big black lab named Blitz and a big black cat named Wicca, who have totally made theirselves at home here...and I am learning to share a bed with a HUGE dog...LOL!

Every relationship needs some level of dorkiness, some more than others LOL I call hubby a Dork ALL the time, its his second nicname LOL Glad you are happy! :aktion033:

Linda, I'm so happy that you've found a wonderful partner! You deserve all the best, and it sounds like you two have found it in one another.

I think part of true love is sharing your dorkiness and laughing about it together...

(Keith and I live and breathe dorkiness...we recently got walkie-talkies, and were speaking fluent Dork over them until we remembered that anyone could be listening in...oh well!)

Thanks everyone!! :bgrin

Well, just when I thought I couldnt be any happier or love Tracy any more than I do already....she popped the question tonight!! :new_shocked:

Thanks!!! :bgrin

Every day just keeps getting better and better...Ive now met part of her family and some friends of hers (most of which are deaf, so it's very interesting to communicate right now...Tracy either has to interpret or if the deaf person can speak, then will talk to me as well as sign). I hope to learn to sign (at last well enough to say simple things like "Hi", "Bye" ,"Nice to meet you", "Thanks", etc.), but maybe more as time goes on, since mosto f Tracy's "world" is in the deaf world (btw, she is hearing, but grew up with 2 deaf parents). If I learn to sign, I think I will feel more comfortable, altho its not really a problem now.

Tracy starts work today (which will be very strange since we've been spending pretty much every waking moment together...lol), but I am proud of her...she will be working for the state of Oregon as a Vocational Rehab. counselor, working with the disabled/deaf. :aktion033:

I am hoping that some of you will meet her...schooling show is only 2 months away and I plan to be there to root you all on (with Tracy in tow)!! :bgrin
