Update on Rescue Pony & donkey

we know where the other horses they had are, my husband delivered them for them and those people can tell the SPCA how bad of shape they were in . I think they figure if the animals are gone that the SPCA can do anything.

I am just curious and wondering why your husband delivered the other horses to keep them away from SPCA ?

We didn't know they were being investigated by the SPCA, They asked if we could truck them for them and were happy to see the horse go to good homes, so we did .We found out last week after we got the pony & donkey that they were in trouble with the SPCA and have to go to court. Each time I talk to people I am finding out more and more about what was really going on there. We weren't friends with them, we have a mutual friend that lives with them , that how we meet them . I have talk to some of the neighbors and found out more about the situation there ..I never would have hide the horses for them, after we offer to take the pony & donkey to try to save them, and they bought down, we found out the rest and we want to fill in the SPCA about what we know ..JANE

I just got off the with the guy who owned them , He finally called me back and he is agreeing to sign them over to me

I rather do this and not have to deal with the courts, if you do that, there is always a chance he could get them back. He is coming by tomorrow to sign over

and then dropped a little bomb, the donkey might be breed, she was running with a jack before he got her and was told she might be breed, He said he thought we knew .So now I need vet back out to do blood test and find out, God I hope she not, her poor little body doesn't need that .

I will let you know if he follow thru and does sign over, Keep fingers crossed..JANE

Donks do carry a belly like that sometimes, but something just said, "pregnant" to me!!

I thought the donkey looked pregnant when I first saw her picture.

When I first saw the donkey, the thought she might be bred crossed my mind, but I didn't think were they got her from had a jack, and I hoped it was bad hay belly or worm problem. Then yesterday he told me, because he didn't want to sign her over, because he could have her have foal and sell the two of them and make money. But I talked him into signing both, lets hope he shows today and does it. I felt her tummy last night and I Thought I felt movement, just called my vet, he is coming on the 26th to do blood test to confirm.Lets hope she is not, But if is, we will deal with it ..JANE
