Did you forget :

The Canadians had to play 2 more games than the American, because of the loss.

Canada had to beat Germany, Russia, and the Slovakians to be able to meet U.S.A. again.

The Americans only had to play Finland to go to the Gold Medal game.

Oh well, I enjoyed the game, thought they both made the game very exciting.

It was an EXCELLENT game...lots of excitement! Of course I am VERY happy that Canada won, but even if they had lost, I can say that I was satisfied that they played their hardest and gave their best, and that would have had to have been good enough. CONGRATULATIONS to both Canada and the US on their Gold/Silver wins!!
