Has anyone used:

Prestige® V + VEE with Havlogen® Equine Vaccine by Intervet
and had problems with it? Or liked it a lot? Figured out I can order it for 1/2 the price my vet charges (before farm call fees) but I don't want to use something lots of people have had problems with.

Also, our temps are still really mild. Can I have it shipped standard post (3-5 days usually) or do I need to have it shipped faster?

Also they have fort dodge but I've heard mixed reviews. Advice?

Our regular vaccine is Prestige V and have used it for years without a problem.

Ft. Dodge we tried a long time ago and would have swelling at the injection site, so we stopped.

The companies I get catalogs from(Jeffers, Valley Vet,KV, a couple of others) seem to all now have a policy of ONLY shipping via overnight, or 2nd day air, at a fairly sizable charge, unless you order something like $250 worth....I'd suggest checking on that before committing to an order. That shipping cost 'could' tip the balance on how much you save by ordering.

I have used both Prestige and Innovator; have the occasional soreness at site, but nothing serious. I try not to use Ft. Dodge...and, I do not use ANY brand that has a high number of vaccines 'in one'---feel that is one major likely causative factor in reactions....JMHO.
