I am a vegetarian and I was wondering if anyone knew any good vege recipes? The more the better! Pile in the recipes please!!

What kind of vegetarian are you? Do you eat eggs? cheese? fish?

Well I can give you all kinds of soups where you substitiute vege stock and use fresh vegetables...like tonites split pea could be made sans leftover ham and homemade ham stock.......if you eat cheese I have good lasagna recipies.......

crockpot

add chopped onion

some celery

garlic (fresh chopped)

carrots

other veggies (I like mushrooms many don't)

can of beans (kidney or black or?)

chili spices

can of tomatoe sauce

cook on high till bubbling reduce to low until eating

vege chili one of my fav's

I was vegetarian for a number of years.....and there are some great recipes out there...the best as always are the creations.......
 
Hey, I'm a vegitarian too, I'm tired and can't think of any ideas but when I do I'll let you know!

Thanx Guys, I eat cheese, milk, etc and I also eat fish but not chicken as chickens are treated badly. Yes - I love lasanga and I would love those sorta recipes!

On I often make for pot luck as I have many vegie friends is Strata take a big casserole dish and layer Squash rice cheeses eggplant beans pasta The multi colored twists are good for this corn Creamed style riccota and end in cheese. bake 350 for half hour or 45 min until veggies are ender crisp and cheeeses are bubblie. Very good main dish hearty and healthy.
