I am very excited...had a breakthrough with Halo today. My husband and I went to see her today, and she was out in the trail area (obstacle course pasture) which is under trees, and has some grass, but not much, mostly there are bitter weeds, she doesn't like. Anyway, she was in there, so we went in there with her and she would graze, then come and want attention...back and forth like that for awhile. I decided to see what she would do with the obstacles with me, so I asked her, and called her over to me, to go over the bridge. She came right to me and we walked the bridge together, no halter or lead, never hung onto to her at all. I gave her lots of praising and scratches. I then asked her to go over the teeter totter bridge. Once again, she did what was asked, with no problems. Walked right with me. She did the same with the carwash thing (wooden frame, with tarps shredded to walk through). She had her grazing muzzle on, this whole time, which was around 2 hrs. so, we took that off, and let her have about 30 mins. without it, then she stood very still for me to halter her, and my husband and I lead her out. I had him, just incase, have another lead line on her, but I did all the directing and any correcting that needed to be done. Which all that I had to correct was her wanting to take one more bite of grass. LOL It went really well, and not once did she try and trot off with us. She even let me hug her neck and kiss her face, which use to honestly sort of make her nervous, but she wasn't nervous at all this time, in fact, she just stood there, with a calm and happy look on her face. Having a good day like this happen, has built my confidence up quite a bit. I was able to be calm but assertive when I needed to be. So I know it may sound like nothing, but for me it was wonderful! We even brought our lawn chairs and sat and just enjoyed being with her. She would eat right next to me. It was like she was the horse, that I saw, when I decided to buy her. I think she is finally feeling at home, getting use to all the new people around her and is calming down to her old, well, however old an almost 2 yr. can be, self. Gosh, can you tell I love this little gal?

I'm so glad for you that she is feeling at home. Some can take moving to a new place in stride and others really need time to feel at home

glad you had such a great day
