I see nothing wrong with asking for picture ID... but this should have been in place ages ago.. Even with my voter card in hand I was asked
my mailing address and picture ID... but a border patrol officer at each polling station... illegals would take one look and leave..

I agree, every voter at every polling place should have to show positive identification to be allowed to vote. But we can't even get people to stop cheating when they measure their horses, so I'm not sure we will ever stop cheating in elections.

Cheaters will always be cheaters..maybe they will make a fake ID? Now there is a thought..BUT why make it wsy on them?

We have to show ID here in Ohio, but funny, I just filled out a PDF and mailed it in requesting an absentee ballot.
I figure in my screaming republican county, I would be better off doing it this way.
First time in my life I haven't voted for the republican candidate. I have friends who are saying the same thing.
