walking on ice

Some years ago, when I did not have horses, but was doing craft shows, someone had an idea for walking on ice. She said to put some socks on the outside of your boots. Don't know why it worked, but her son tried it on a morning we were setting up for a craft show (if you think we get up early for horse shows, you have never set up for a craft show :bgrin ) We were all sliding around, but he was running back a forth to the car and then helped lots of others get their stuff in. Thought it might at least be worth a try.

Don't know about the ice but definitely know about the craft shows!!! Up at 3:00 a.m. out the door at 5:00 a.m. and setting up at 5:30 a.m. !!
