DON'T KNOW OF ANYONE THAT MAKES THEM, BUT WE BOUGHT A DOG ONE THAT FITS, A LOT OF THEM ARE MADE JUST LIKE THE MINI HORSE ONES.

I have found the dog ones are not wide enough to cover her sides and then if they cover her sides they are a foot too long off her tail........

It's a fact, many dwarfs are shaped differently. Just as some dogs are built in a way that prevents the standard blankets from fitting........have you called Supreme? They do some custom work, so who knows.

Have you taken any of your "other" sized blankets and tried them on to see if maybe one of those could be altered? Any seamstress or even an upholstery shop could do the changes for you, most likely.

I am thinking -- from what you have said -- that this babe is a little "chubby" and needs a larger size to go around/down the sides but, body not long enough for the whole thing ---- this would alter where the leg straps need to be, etc. Also most of them have a need for a larger neck opening....yours too?

My friend has an Old English Bull and wow, those shoulders and neck are the same size!

: No way a "normal" size would fit this dog!

I can relate.

Heres the newest pic of Babydoll...... as you can see in the second one, she is a little wide in the gut... not bad though. I bought a large dog blacket and it only hits her half down her sides and is past her butt. X large would but way too long.

April, try posting on the saleboard. there is someone that posts on there that they make homemade blankets. I'm sure with the measurements they could accomodate your little darlin.

I would have been happy to make you one, but I don't have a sewing machine in the city. I wish you had posted this a few weeks ago when I was house sitting for my parents. I might be going back in a few weeks, I'll try to remember this post and ask you if you had one made yet. Sound ok? In the mean time, you might be able to get a larger size altered, but I think the neck would be too big and rub her withers. Shes a special girl and deserves her own special blankie! I've made a few for my own little guy, and never used a pattern, so making one for her should be a snap cause you won't find a pattern to match her cute unique measurements!

Thank you Billie! I looked on Supreme design and am going to go out and measure Doll and see what they come up with.... I shaved her last month abd it just WILL NOT stay warm. She stands out there and shakes all the time. I need something water proof and tha will STAY ON. She likes to rub them off.

Send me her measurements...and I shall try. I have a small amount of water resistant material that will do; and some quilted blanket lining. Can't say it will all match...but she sure won't get lost or cold.
