We had a baby!

Our tovero maiden mare foaled last night all by herself. She was still tight and small and hadn't dropped. She had a small bag but you couldn't lift her tail! She was pasture bred and could have gone February through the end of April.

I've been watching Venus (on my web cam) for 2 months and haven't thought much about anything else.

We found this at 7:15 this morning: A filly-- all dried off and nursing!!

The ring test was wrong, btw! But I don't care!! :aktion033:

I cant believe this CONGRATULATIONS I was still watching Venus at 1:30 A.M. this morning. Now this is the way to have a baby. She is beautiful. I got up to go to bathroom at 4 and looked at Venus and as usual there she was in her huge pregnant glory and then at 6 Bob gets up and looks too. We are covering alot of time between the two of us when I saw your post I said how can that be I just looked at Venus. Big Big Congratulations. !!!!!

I've been watching Venus the last few days too (tickled that there's actually a web cam out there that I can actually see!)....right now it looks like she made a little poo in the middle of her stall and is standing over it as if to say "made you a little something...hehehe" :lol:

When I got back to see Venus, I showed her the picture of the baby on my camera and told her that's what she is supposed to do!

She wasn't impressed.

Maybe today will be a twofer day and Venus will foal too! (Dare I even say that outloud???)
