Thanks everyone for your nice notes. I am pleased with the start so far.

Mother had her knee replaced eight days ago, her seventh knee surgery! The knee is doing well and the therapist is very pleased with her progress but they have kept her in the hospital because they found that she has fluid in her lungs. We had hoped to move her to rehab last Monday, but think it will happen tomorrow. Unfortunately we leave early in the morning for a trip to NY/DC to see our daughters and will be gone for a week.
