WEATHER CHANNEL SHOWING TORNADOES

It is showing the filming from the sky of places being hit within the past hour and continuing to be hit NOW. Sending prayers out for all our Okies. Please report in when you are able to.

Cross posting..We had tornados within 18 miles of us. Got wind damage,and more tree damage, but we are okay. There is a 15 month old baby that is missing, that is about 2 hours from us. Their house took a direct hit. I just can't imagine what the parents are going thru. I am very grateful to still have my home, and everyone I love is okay...Oklahoma can not take anymore tornados..Prayers for the ones who lost their loved ones and their homes. On another note, A man came out of his storm cellar to find a full size horse in his pool. He does not have any horses! Nor does he know who the horse belongs to...Crazy Weather! Also, we were at work, my mom "tried" to get to my house 300 feet away from her house to get in the cellar. Wind caught her, she got dizzy and fell on the concrete next to my storm cellar. Hit her head on the concrete. Art got home a few minutes after that and found her. She is OKAY, but she has a good goose egg on her forehead..I have had enough of this weather!

We are fine. Today the wind got fierce in a split second & I knew it was "something" other than sudden wind, so I ran from the room to seek shelter, but it stopped so I came back. My friend Erika said one just missed us and hubby said one did too, he had called me and came home from work. But be what I heard. But I don't know if it was anything or not.

I've been asking Erika about Rita. No real news yet. I hope everyone is ok!

I just heard on the news about the tornado activity in OK, and that the sirens have been going off again in Joplin...how very scary. Count is now up to 123? dead in Joplin and many--possibly up to 1500--still missing there. This is so grim. Where are the people staying? They'd have nothing--no homes, no jobs--my heart and prayers go out to them.

I sure hope our OK forum members are all okay tonight.

Theresa--do you know if they were able to get the horse out of the pool? What a ride that horse must have had between home and that pool!!

Im here. We didn't get anything down here in far southwestern OK. Just a dust storm.

I watched the one go up by you, Robin and Theresa, on the Radar. Was keeping a close eye on it.

It has been so sad to hear about Rita.

Wish I were closer to help. I had to turn off the TV last night and then dreamed of tornados.
