Yippee!! :aktion033:

I'm so glad it all worked out. When you rest up, I hope you'll tell me all about it!

So, the stall has been stripped and freshly bedded, water bucket hung and a big flake of hay--where's my big dumb gelding? You know where my priorities are--I cleaned the barn, not the house for your impending visit!

Call me when you can :saludando:

So, wherebouts are you locating in Texas. We just moved here last August from Ky. We are about 45 minutes southeast I believe from Texarkana, and only 33 miles from Idabel, Oklahoma. Did you come anywhere near this direction? Let me know where you're located!

WOOHOOO!! Congrats...I bet your smiling from ear to ear!!! would LOVE to see pics!!

The kids are staying at Short View Miniatures in Whitesboro until my husband can get the house sold in Idaho and we can buy one we've been looking in Sanger, Haslet, and Azle but I'll be doing a lot more searching since I'm here now.....oh yea and the job hunting :new_shocked: I'm staying in Flower Mound with my brother. We did have a couple see the house yesterday and our realtor mentioned that it was just what they were looking for so KEEP YOU FINGERS CROSSED!!!! :bgrin

I will most certanly post photos when we get settled in a place and the kids are "home"

Christine,

Just wanted to tell you how PROUD I am that you are making this BIG STEP..... You drove in your own car for longer than you ever have and handled the long hours LIKE A PRO......(Larry told me this was all a new experience for you!) Larry was VERY impressed with your stamina -- and I just wanted you to know that!

Hope all the critters are settling in okay at their temporary "digs".

Hi Maryann!

I was sooooo afraid before we started that I was going to fall asleep along the way and slow him down. I was just as surprised as he was that I was truckin along in my little beetle for so long  I think the longest I've driven was when I was about 18 and my mom and I were headed to Grants Pass, OR from San Diego, CA to visit my brother when he was living there, and I only drove for about 10 hours straight. Thanks so much for the confidence that I'm doing the right thing. We sure hope that this is the start of greater things to come. :aktion033: :aktion033: :aktion033:

Yea YOU MADE IT!!! Thanks for letting me know too, I was thinking aobut you guys on the road but with Larry in the lead, you couldn't go wrong! Glad it worked out for Sheri to babysit :aktion033: :aktion033:

Good luck selling the old place and happy house hunting!!! How fun!!

Congratulations, and welcome to Texas! Lots of great horses and horse people up in your new area. We're still a ways south of you, but when you are ready to explore your new state we would love to meet you.
