My daughter reminded me that the Westminster Dog Show begins tonight on USA. My DISH guide shows one hour tonight, three hours tomorrow night, both starting at 6 PM, MST.CORRECTION: Turns out, the second two hours of TONIGHT'S part is on CNBC, starting at 7 PM MST. My apologies for not being more thorough. I *think* that each part is repeated during its following day on USA?

I do like to watch this one.

For those that don't know...you can check out your favourite breed winners at the Westminster Kennel Club's official site:

http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/

They have video clips from each breed too, though those sometimes aren't fully updated until the following day.

It's on right now, I never miss it, as I used to breed American Cockers, black & tan, plus I was a groomer, I like the herding breeds, non-sporting, toys and the working group. Especially like the Beardies, Bullies, corgis.

RED BONE HOUND!

I had just been wondering when this might be on. Thank you for posting it, I would have missed it otherwise!

Looking forward to the rest of the groups and BIS.

Am pulling for the Peke. Not that I am a huge fan of the breed but that dog is as close as perfect (per the standard) as they come and David his handler/owner is one of the nicest if not THE nicest pro handler out there. He truely deserves to win a Best at the Garden.

Did you all see the beautiful shar pei? I am so glad he won his group. I love shar pei The deer hound that won best in show was very pretty too.

Best in Show is from my area. Yea!

I was hoping for Adam the Smooth Fox Terrier who took the Terrier Group. He is stunning (and my favourite breed) but my second love is the sighthounds ( I was owned by a Borzoi for 9 years) so I was thrilled that the deerhound won. Hickory is a lovely girl... and very deserving.

So many fine dogs!

Adam was my top pick. IMO he didn't quite sparkle as much in the final judging as he did when he won Group.

He's a great dog!
