What a surprise!

[Little Wee Horse Farm]

When I went to the barn to feed yesterday morning, I found this little face looking up at me!

: She is Little Wee Wild Elegance's first foal. I wasn't sure just when she was due & figured it might be late January or early February -- wrong! Ellie gave NO signs of foaling and didn't have a bag either. The filly is by our Little Wee Magical Merlin.

The only color she has, besides that wild face, is a heart in the middle of her back! What a sweetie. I guess Ellie wanted to present me with a baby as a retirement present. Good girl! The foal doesn't have a name yet. It might be Little Wee Wild Magic. Any other ideas? I really wasn't ready for this one, tho she'd be welcome anytime.

Well Karen, she's simply beautiful! I'd love to see that heart too! I'll have to think on the name though, I'm not good at names. And how nice of Merlin to give you one last big "hurrah" before he leaves in a couple weeks!
