I'm grateful for lots of things. Family, friends, this forum. I'm grateful my husband lost his job(mill closed) a couple of years ago and was forced to look at new careers. I'm grateful he was accepted into the RN program and in a couple of years he'll be supporting me instead of the other way around!

I'm grateful for my family, my dogs, my horses, my friends, my career, and my house. I'm also grateful that Harvey and I get to spend a lot of time together. AND grateful that there's so much to look forward to.

[SIZE=14pt]Grateful that God loved me enough to send His son to die in my place. Greatful for a patient husband who is NOT an animal person that lets me love my dogs and horses and helps with them. Grateful for my extra eyes Esther and that she is no longer suffering from the side effects of the Lymes disease. Grateful that my elderly parents are still with us another Christmas,Grateful for my friends Cheryl and Bruce who will talk to me any hour of the day about my horses when no one else wants to hear it again

I am grateful that I have been blessed with a kind, generous and loving husband. I am grateful for my family in health, love and fun times. I am grateful that Lakota came to me this summer........that my animals are all sane and happy.........that I have my horses and am able to enjoy them..........grateful that this year I got the courage to enjoy Christmas for what it is and not get caught up in so much of the commercialization of it all......and last but not least grateful for this forum, because without it I would not have met my wonderful friends whom I talk and communicate practically everyday with.....thru the bad times AND the good times.

I am grateful for two beautiful kids, a wonderful husband, two minis in my field and three dogs under my feet. I am also very grateful the urologist pronounced me cancer free right before thanksgiving, yup, this is a good holiday.

(and I am thankful for the cold snap we've had here to put us all in the Christmas mood!)

I have to say I am grateful for the good health and lives of my three sons, my husband, my self and of course my father and stepmother.

So grateful that Dad's surgery has come out fine and he seems to need no further treatment for what potentially could have been very seriously lifethreatening.

Grateful to have a nice home, a little barn, pasture, in the forest where Lewis and Clark spent their winter 200 years ago. Very beautiful here, and full of interesting happenings.

Grateful to finally hear that the crab season will happen Dec. 29th, though it is almost a month delayed.

Grateful also that my 16 year old son is seeming to make the right choices and connections in his life so far, that he does not spend time with others who drink and use drugs. I tell him this, often.

I am grateful for the many wonderful and loving friends I have surrounded myself with in lieu of an extended family. I think of all of them often and wish for all their happiness and good health, success. They deserve nothing less, great people that they are.

Grateful for all my four-legged "babies" and the enjoyment I get from them, hopefully they get some from me, too.

I am truly fortunate.

Liz M.
