I have to say I am grateful for the good health and lives of my three sons, my husband, my self and of course my father and stepmother.
So grateful that Dad's surgery has come out fine and he seems to need no further treatment for what potentially could have been very seriously lifethreatening.
Grateful to have a nice home, a little barn, pasture, in the forest where Lewis and Clark spent their winter 200 years ago. Very beautiful here, and full of interesting happenings.
Grateful to finally hear that the crab season will happen Dec. 29th, though it is almost a month delayed.
Grateful also that my 16 year old son is seeming to make the right choices and connections in his life so far, that he does not spend time with others who drink and use drugs. I tell him this, often.
I am grateful for the many wonderful and loving friends I have surrounded myself with in lieu of an extended family. I think of all of them often and wish for all their happiness and good health, success. They deserve nothing less, great people that they are.
Grateful for all my four-legged "babies" and the enjoyment I get from them, hopefully they get some from me, too.
I am truly fortunate.
