When we started this adventure in 1991 we were not well informed and took quite a while to get "on track".
We are now breeding for what we like to think is the smallest and best example of a horse, as per the registry statement.
Colour is not a major factor however I like a bit of "chrome".
Pintos, appies, and buckskins catch my eye. Pedigree is important, but first I have to like the horse.
Our stallions give us some very good results which makes it difficult to offer the foals for sale.
I would like to reduce to about 10 to 15 horses and breed only 3 mares each year.
We enjoy the small fairs and could attend 6 to 8 each year and have a nice time with our horses if there weren't so many other jobs that keep us home.
