I am excited about quite a few foals for next year because we have bred some mares back to stallions that we got excellent results from in the past. But i have to say the foal i am looking most foward to is out of a mare named Bite Size En Vogue. We sold this mare about 7 years ago to Wade Burns of Lucky Four Farms, then he put her in his last sale and she was bought by Legends Miniature Horses, and then she was then bought by Reece Family Miniatures. Then in July we had the opportunity to buy her again and we jumped on the opportuninty because this mare was always a top producer for us. Wade sold one of her fillys out of Little Kings Black Velvet to Europe(i think, somewhere overseas). But i am so glad to have her back and then she is bred to Grosshills EK Undisputed Creation a Reserve World Champion, he is a son of NFCs Egyptian Kings Creation and is out of a double bred daughter of Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan(actually a full sister to our Paul Bunyan daughter). This cross should be amazing, and i can't wait to see it. I am looking foward to a lot of foals but because this one is different breeding i look foward to it.

: We love our little Maidy daughter and miss our maidy too. Know she is loved and that makes it easier! Mary

We are expecting our very first foal this coming year :new_shocked: , and if that isn't enough to be excited about, it would have to be the cross that we are excited about too, two of the finest lines!

:

Little Maiden, a Vegas Mare (out of Jean B's Stallion, Vegas), we bought Maiden from Mary (Buckskin Gal), and she is just as sweet and smart as they come, we just adore her!

And Apache, (LM Hawks Apache Blue) Mary and Les's Champion Farms Nighthawk son, who is also very sweet and very smart and VERY Beautiful;

We are just thrilled about this little one, we are reading everything we can get our hands on, and have already bought a barn cam (need to get it hooked up though) and several tiny, new baby blankets! I even bought a beautiful matching Momma/Baby blanket set from SmoothEZ for them! We already have the birthing stall all set up, and the Vet on call! LOL!! Mike thinks I am nuts, but we are having a Blast!!!

I am excited about all the upcomming 2007 babies - especially the "Prince" kids since he is out East this year standing at stud at Aloha Acres and it may be hard to get some of my own mares bred to him for 2008. But here is what I have comming in 2007 (sorry, I am a moron and haven't figured out the picture posting thing so you will need to go to my website to see the crosses: www.mountainmeadowsminiatures.com)

Prince x Tyme Keeper (first time cross)

Cleo x High Tech (this is Lorraine Strawn's beautiful stallion and probably Cleo's last foal - she will be 25)

Baylee x Countess (this is a daughter of Summer Rose x Sierra Dawn's Monarch - should be stunning)

Prince x Silver Song (repeat of 2X National Champion Jewel - owned by Sharon Hamilton)

Prince x Flame (first time cross)

Prince x Finesse (first time cross)

Baylee x Savannah (first time cross)

Baylee x Cover Girl (hoping for another black pinto filly)

Good luck to everyone with foaling in 2007!

Stacy

Stacy, I don't blame you for being excited for the "Prince" foals. Prince is an amazing stallion and i know how much you love him. All of the babies i have seen out of him have been amazing. I am excited for you. Aubrey

: but will happen in March of 2007 for a 2008 foal. I am really looking forward to the cross between my sisters mare, Hells Canyon Pharoahs Sahara and my good friend, Jim Currys stallion, Royal Splish Splash... :aktion033: Some of you may remember him at Nationals... he was National Top Ten Senior Stallion and Reserve National Champion Multi-Color, he is SO extreme and exotic... and moves like a freight train... LOL!!

Wow, not only am I excited about all of my own coming, but I am getting excited about all of YOURS just looking at some of the photos here!! Are we gonna have a fun 'foal pics' year in '07 or what?!!

Really excited to see next years crop from all my stallions and mares.

Double was at Rocking M Farms this year while I underwent Chemo treatments again for a second round of Breast Cancer. They bred 12 of their best mares to him, including the dam of Rocking JM 3T Bruce Almighty and Rocking M Remington Sterling Silver and the dam of Rocking M 3T Vanilla Ice. I can't wait to see this crop. To date all Double's foals are buckskin and this will be a real test to see if that trend continues.

I have 2 mare (one outside mare) that are bred to my palomino White Russian son, Silver Plate Stoli for his first foal crop and I can't wait to see these babies.

stoliupsm.jpg

Vickie was also so very kind as to foal out 3 of my mares during my treatment and we bred 2 of them to Rocking M Remingtons Pica Winner, a beautiful palomino pinto and the other mare is bred to Rocking M Blue Destiny, a blue roan pinto grandson of Martins Boozers Dark N Dazzling. Both stallions are sons on the Nat'l Champion mare, Circle H Fashionette.

Can't wait for Spring of 2007 to arrive :bgrin

I can't say that I am more excited about one over another!

There will be some new and exciting additions here, as I have several new mares bred to Flash for the first time and I can't wait to see those foals!

9-04FlashLiz.jpg

We also purchased Image, a frame overo Rowdy grandson last May and with any luck, we'll have several foals by him as well.

There should be several new crosses here and I can't wait to see them!

I have no foals of my own coming in 2007 but my daughter has her wonderful silver mare, Rays Quiche Lorraine, bred to my blue roan pinto stallion, Honkens AKS Cracker Jack, and i am very excited to see this baby, as is she! jennifer :saludando:

So many exciting foals-a-coming! I can't wait! :aktion033:

My most anticipated is a Buckeroo/Rowdy cross. She was just confirmed in foal this afternoon. Sire is my Buckeroo grandson. This will be his first foal (unless one of the other 2 I bred him to foal first... but they aren't confirmed yet). Dam is my Rowdy granddaughter. I am hoping for a black filly, but I will be happy as long as the foal is healthy. I just can't wait to meet it.
