What would you pay for a R colt

Dbl bred appy, but solid. Good bloodlines and good conf.

What could you expect to pay for one in Florida, or where you are.

A lot would depend on several factors. On what I would pay.

1. What would you be planning on doing with him? Using for breeding or gelding him.

2. What body type does he have. Most will not pay hardly anything for the quarter horse type.

3. I would pay more if I had been planning on breeding him and he would stay small enough for my mares.

Without seeing him this is a very hard to put a $ amount on.

I'd also say $500 & up. I do know it's a little harder now than it was a couple years ago to find them for $500 (quality ones anyway) but I think there'd still be a few around at that price.

My tovero colt (B sized) is for sale for $700. Pet probably. Now, my tiny bay tovero fella is $1200, but he is exquisite! (and already gelded...) Both are AMHR Futurity Nominated, too.

Depends on the horse!

He has a dishy head, with tipy ears. His neck could be better, but it isnt bad. I would have to say he is more a arab type body. I am hoping to show him if hes good enough. I will get a photo as soon as possible.

I happen to think R is IN!

For what I have seen prices are saying the same.

$500 on up.

$4500 for a GOOD show colt, if young and not trained.

$6500 for a GOOD show colt with a show record to prove it. Or maybe a touch higher. With all the extras thrown in. As in pedigree, the horse itself good all the way around!

$2000 to $4000 for a good colt to be gelded to be a GREAT show gelding.

I would be more concerned with conformation, movement, health, etc.. more than I would his background or what color he is, unless you are into breeding appies and wanted something colored.... then I would go by the other things, with color as a plus.
