Major bummer! I guess I can do the laundry and pick up around here a little bit as long as I don't get carried away

Jerry is going to be working on building the remainder of stalls in the new barn.

Hopefully he can finish them this weekend.

He still has three more stalls to build and that includes Sonny's stall who gets a double, and that one will be re-inforced with Kryptonite or something strong enough that can even take down Superman.

Then he has all the stall doors still to build. It's getting closer! He's going to let me sit on the chair in the barn and watch as long as I don't bother him.......

Dan promised to fix Timmy's face for me. I decided to clip it to because it was half shedded off and he resembled quite the little goat.

But I wrecked it pretty bad so it's Dan to the rescue! That kid can do an awesome clip job that's for sure.

I hope I can get some new pictures here for you this weekend.

For those out there showing their hearts out best of luck to you ! You all do us so proud. There's no loosers. You are all winners!

I will be busy this weekend. Between cutting the grass (hopefully for the last time this year), cleaning the barn, going to the feed store for feed and hay, cleaning the house, and of course, reading this Forum

, I have to start filling orders for the wooden pictures that I am now doing. So yes, it will be a busy weekend for me.

Marty, why were you in the Hospital? I hope all is well with you!

i will be clipping my new liitle girl's head and neck to see what is there. If my daughter, ashley, shows me how to put pics on, i will.

Marty, what were you in the hospital for? You need to take CARE of yourself!!

I'm going to be doing very similar to what you are doing, Marty, since I badly twisted my ankle (my already-previously-injured one, sigh) so all of my big plans are out the window. Rest my foot and hobble around is about all I am going to be able to do. My trailer needs to be unpacked from Nationals and my house cleaned, but I guess it will have to wait.

I don't have big plans for the weekend, but... I am preparing for my new mini to come home, I go get her on Tuesday. I have to finish cleaning her temporary stall and wash buckets, then most everything will be ready for her arrival. While I'm gone, I'll also do a little shopping and pick up the hardward for the barn that we will hopefully get going on this fall (it's small, so if we get started, we can also finish).

I am throwing a HUGE birthday party (for Elliot's #7) It is a PIRATE theme and I have been preparing all week (lets pray for no rain from 1-3) I have 20 boys coming ranging in age from 5-10. I may post pictures when it is all over and done

A local parade. Last year he was all decorated with a fall decor. This year we are doing flags. My daughter in law will drive one of mine. She tried him out in the sulky yesterday, as he is very small and she is very tall, it was a strange sight to see! I think I will let her use the cart instead! This will be CLoud's first parade, and I will keep my fingers crossed that he does all right. Marty, what are you doing in the hospital? I'll bet Timmy missed you!

We'll working on cleaning house up inside and out.... always things to do in this new old house of ours.

Tomorrow I am off to a basket exchange.. I weave baskets so we are having a picnic and are exchanging basket patterns. Then Sunday we are having some friends over from back in NC. Then in my spare time working on my Christmas gifts... YES I am working on those already, infact I am nearly done with most. I am so excited I will actually be able to enjoy this holiday without worring that I didn't get this or that done...

Tomorrow we're going to deliver Luanne Hott/Oakbrooke Farm's stallion and two geldings to her and John at their new farm in Belvidere, Tennessee. Luanne hasn't seen her boys since June 10th when she dropped them off to us while we were at an auction in Ocala, Florida and we brought them back to Tennessee with us until she and John sold their Florida house and got situated up here.

THEN.........Sunday afternoon we will await the arrival of BARBIE & DAVE PATRICK!!!!!!! Happy, happy, joy, joy!!!!! Can't wait!!!!!! They'll be with us until Thursday morning when they return to Florida.

Oh Marty, hope you are okay...take care of yourself...Just got a load of hay so that's set for another month...Went to the lumber store and bought more lumber to finish the new stallion shed and paddock...trying to find someone that knows how to use a jack hammer to bust up some concrete here.///Watching the news about Rita and hoping and praying everyone will be safe south of us...and as Timmy says God Bless you Everyone..

Oh hey, not to worry thank you, I"m fine.

I have high blood pressure and am a borderline diabetic and just other stuff and I crashed because I had not taken my meds at all for days and days and been drinking 2 liters of pepsi.

I just plain forgot sorta !!!and got to busy with painting the house, fall cleaning, setting up my new tack room, you know how it gets....and oh well all my blood tests were way off

The sugar went UP UP UP and the blood pressure dropped down down down to like a dead person and they wouldn't let me out cause I had to have a IV. Just need to let the meds take hold again so I can get up some new energy to go back to chasing down my Timmy!!!!!! YIP YIP YIP!!!!!! It won't be long but diet drinks really just suck so I cheated. I"m already up and about cause Timmy needs me to kiss upon that cute little baby face.

I'm keeping an eye on the weather and praying that Rita will just up and go away.

Oh, Timmy's at the door with Michael and he said to tell you "GOD BLESS US EVERYONE" .........OK Timmy, we know, we know........ (I taught him how to say that)

I'm still recovering from our trip to Nationals - fibromyalgia and IBS catch up with me after any sort of stress - today's the first day I've managed to get out of bed before noon.... have bronchitis again too.

Grocery shopping, resting, keeping track of the minis (we've weaned Sassy!) - and getting ready to bring Appy HOME next Friday! Fall breeding and driving coming up soon!
