Oh hey, not to worry thank you, I"m fine.
I have high blood pressure and am a borderline diabetic and just other stuff and I crashed

Hold it right there.......YOU will take care of your diet an meds ...do you hear me young lady...(toe tapping smiley goes here)......I have a bunch of diabetics in mine and my hubbies family.....this is dangerous stuff......killed my granny ..she never knew she had it ...went into a coma and died .....so you listen to me if the doctor says change your diet do it......we don't want to lose you and that family of yours definately needs you around

and what about the horses......take time out rest and get back to normal.....

In my own defense, no one knew I was borderline diabetic until the new tests were run so we are going to control it with their big diabetic diet for now.....sure wish I had some Goobers from Hosscrazy right now but I got popcorn instead for the time being. Oh well. RATS

Marty, you take care. We just lost my husband's sister to complications of diabetes, and his other sister did not know she was till her boys found her on the floor in a coma. She recovered thankfully - and hubby is now under instructions to test often. As others said, not something to mess around with.

This weekend here - trying to get the barn closed in before whatever part of Rita is coming through gets to us. May just be a little rain spatter here, or maybe tornados. Aside from that, packing the trailer, cleaning up horse and harness, generally getting ready for World.

Well we spent hours tonight trying to prepare our barn. Okay, I know we are not right in her path. But we will get a lot rain from her and winds. So incase we do get the rain and winds, I needed the barn to be more secure. So we put down 4 more bags of concrete on the back wall, bottom of it. We have enough trouble with the water going under the barn. We are trying to sale our property Commercial and move. But till then, trying to make this old barn hold out. So more concrete went down. I spent part of the day, up on the roof. Checking for nail holes, covering any open holes, puting down more black goop on them and on some of the seams. Check the barn for loose boards. Just trying to make it good and Winter ready. Filled all water buckets. So tonight and tomorrow will be watching Rita and praying for all in her path.

You got to promise all of us you will take care of your self. We all need you around a long long time. And most important you need to take care your self for

you, your family and Little Timmy. He needs you so much. Who would give him all those big hugs?

My daughter in law took Dapper Dan, who is a parade pro, and I took Cloud on the sulky for his very first parade. He did remarkably well. One thing we have to work on, is when something catches his attention, he stops stock still to check it out. He even does this when eating. Not such a good habit in the middle of a parade, though! I planned to have a list of local people with minis for sale with me, as people always ask me, and I forgot to bring the list. Tried to ad lib, but it would have been better to have it written down!

TODAY: Headed out to TSC to get a new pooper scooper since the old one broke this morning. Trained w/ new little Joey some (pics coming soon ..we need to bathe him still. Its just been to chilly out). Starting that Government binder that is due Monday. Cleaning out the Room of course

SUNDAY: FFA-BBQ so im cooking from 8am-noon when we will start serving for 4 hours. Then im coming home and hanging out w/ the baby's. Calling some more training facilities in ohio for Sammy for his darn ground manners. Finishing the Government Binder.

Thats it!. lol and dad to told me he would build me a another stall as long as i dont complaine about it!

I had a tooth pulled Friday morning. Spent all day Sat. either trying to pass out or throw up.

Was not fun. I think the pain med. was trying to kill me. So I stopped taking it. Today my hubby was off so he did everything for me. Even made me nice soft things to eat. So am feeling a lot better today.

Have to go back to work tomorrow. I just hope I am up to a 10 hour shift running every second.

If not I may have to come home early.

Marty. I do hope you are feeling better. I always love reading you entries.
