Court is Friday morning for the scum to get officially charged and see if he can make bond. The Sheriff has made an appearance with his deputys on my front porch today to advise me not to go. They said that there will be much security there and we will not be allowed in because they think that we are going to loose control and try something foolish. Oh gee, ya think? Sure, the thought has crossed my mind but we are not going to go at all. I don't want to lay eyes on the piece of filth until I have to. I heard he is going to plead "not guilty"

Michael's little girlfriend asked me to come pick her up and bring her to our house to spend the day with me. I've let this place turn into a real wreck so she's going to help me straighten some things out. We're going to plant some flowers and make hanging flower baskets and try to make some sense out of the garden that I tried to plant from seeds that grew up into big tall weeds. I have a lot of company coming next week and she's going to help me prepare for them too. Then we are going to bathe Timmy who is stinky and Nick who is a dirt ball too.

Dan is going 4 wheeling with Seanna who has been a very close friend of Michaels' for many years. I think she adopted Dan as her kid brother. She likes to spend time with Dan which is good for him. So they will be having a lot of fun on Friday while Tabitha and I are sweating to death pulling weeds and planting.

Saturday Jerry is taking me to get some hay with the trailer and that's going to be a very long borring ride but we have to get it while we can as there is a shortage in my area this year.

Sunday after Church Jerry is taking us out somewhere but we don't know where yet.

Meanwhile the world's longest yard sale is arriving and staring on Sunday so that gives us more stuff to do to keep occupied and our minds on other things for a little while atleast.

Timmy wants you all to be very careful, buckle up and watch out for the other guy and have a nice safe weekend.

He says to tell you that he's a little sweetie and likes cherry popcicles and says "GOD BLESS US EVERYONE" and please keep us in your prayers if you can.

so whatchadoingthisweekend?

Hi Marty:

Sure glad to hear you're finding comfort in friends, flowers and company arriving.

Here's a prayer the judge has a speck of common sense and sets the fool's bail at $1 million. Rest assured, I highly doubt any bondsman in Tenessee will touch the case...nor any co-signer dingy enough to put their assets on the line. Shoot, if that were my son with no regard for human life, it's a safe bet his mama would let him rot in jail! Period. The collateral emotional damage to so many lives which may never heal deserves nothing less.

David and I set ourselves out to "have fun", rather than constant fencing to rotate pastures. Dad travels 80% of the time, so we run the ranch. Three varsity football players come over and fix the fences where the minis cannot breach. Crushed my hand pounding t-posts. God bless them.

Daddy comes home tomorrow, and I'm sure there'll be lots of father/son time....and mama can brush horses to everyone's content without feeling guilty.

You take care, Marty. Sure glad you posted your WHATCHADOING THIS WEEKEND!

It feels good to see this topic and Marty's name at the top

This weekend, I'm:

* Studying for / Working on my CFP designation

* Doing some continuing education for both my NASD and Insurance licenses

* Normal horse chores and hopefully some horse fun (got a new leopard mare I'm getting to know...)

* Take some horse pictures (for those AMHA registrations I have aged for many, many moons)

* Lunch at Outback on Sunday -- recently discovered the one closest to us opens at noon on Sundays meaning I can pig out and take a nap, two of my favorite activities.

Hickstead, The Royal International Horse show!!!

Qualified six, taking two- can't manage to get any more ready, let alone actually afford to enter them!!!

The weather looks set to be a little cooler which is great as it is all outside.

I agree it is fantastic to see Marty's name on this topic! Marty I think about you and your family all the time and you are in our prayers. I hope they throw the book at the scum and make him rot in jail.

Friday and Saturday I have to work but Sunday afternoon, Maggie is getting a MUCH needed bath and trimmed up. I want to get some good pictures of her if possible. If I have time and strength enough after that, Little Man and Legacy will also get baths.

Tell Timmy that both Legacy and Maggie send their love. It is hard to believe that Legacy and Timmy are almost a year old. I remember last year when we were wondering which one would arrive first and Angel kept crossing her legs.

Love ya Marty!

Mary

I hope that guy rots. I will be thinking ill thoughts of him all day today, even worse than I normally think.

We are going to drive tomorrow, not sure if we are hauling to amish country or just at home, but we are going to drive for fun.

Then, vaccinate all the horses, worm them and bridle paths. The bridle paths help us keep track of who got done!

Clean out my car and trailer and pack for regionals. Decided to take an extra day off and go down on Thursday morning instead of that night. Debate on bodyclipping my horse for the show.

Rest my knee some so it holds up for the show. Had an appt with my ortho doc and What a drag it is getting old and yes, total replacement is it. We looked at the pictures from both scoping surgeries and the change in the bone was something else. You can actually see where the cartilage ends and bone is exposed in the joint, and that picture is a year old. He told me I was on that downward spiral where I will continue to damage it to the point where it will have to be replaced. Just putting off the inevitable for a while. I hope to put it off at least until after the ice in the late winter, I have this uncanny ability to find ice and wipe out, always damaging that knee.
default_sad.png
Ortho doc wants to get a bit more mileage out of the knee so we are trying different meds to see if one will work. Problem is, I have to try each one for 4 - 6 weeks before I can decide go or no go.

If I were a candidate for partial replacement he would do it now, but I am not because of problems with my kneecap. The angle of my leg has changed because the inside of the joint now has a very tiny gap in the bones and the outside has a much larger one. That puts most of my weight on the inside of the joint, new leg angle and bone on bone. Oh yay.

Ewww.. That guy has nerve to plead "not guilty." :smileypuke:

Anyway, it is SO nice to see that you posted this.

Well this weekend I am in the process of swithcing boarding barns. I did not feel I was ever going to get anywhere in showing at my old barn, so I decided to move. Hopefully it will be for the best. I am sure Willie will love it also, since he has a green pasture to play in most of the day. :new_shocked:

: Anyway, we are moving him today, and hopefully getting him all settled in this weekend.

Hope that guy never sees daylight again unless he's in an exercise yard in some prison!!!

On Saturday morning my 2 06 colts are being picked up to go to their new homes. They will have a long, long ride. One is going to Canada, the other to upstate NY. Hope they do OK!!! Then I will probably grocery shop and do some house cleaning.

On Sunday I'm going with my daughters' 4H club to an amusement park in PA. Supposed to be in the 90's. Hope they have some water rides!!!

AND.....next week I'm on vacation!! :bgrin Going to start some school shopping for the girls, maybe go to the pool, take naps, read books. Totally veg out!!

We are getting a 100 bales of hay tomarrow morning, then we have a suprise bitrthday party in the afternoon. Sunday it's supposed to rain all day so the horses are going to be getting groomed and bridle paths done, etc. Cassidy will probably ride this afternoon if it's not too hot and humid. Right now it's really gross out. If no riding today Smarty and Bell will be getting baths and Honey (Trisket) and Philly will be just getting hosed off with nice cool water.

I'm glad to see your getting out and doing more. I hope you got my big box of candles I sent 2 weeks ago. I love the scented candles, they are soothing.

Christy

Marty, it was so GREAT to see your pst. We have all missed you SOOOOO much

: . This weekend we are going to go to the cottage for awhile, which everyone knows I hate going to, it seems like its always so much extra work, but we have company coming up and they want to go for a boat ride, and the guys will probably do some fishing. Our cottage is only about 8 miles from our farm, so I can run home every lilttle while to check on the horses. Then on Sunday, we have a big picnic planned on our farm, for my daughter-in-laws close cousin, who is leaving for Iraq shortly. and of course, if Joe and I dont finish up trimming all the horses hooves today, we will have to finish up that sometime this weekend too. ....and now they say rain  Corinne

Yay Marty! I got so excited to see that it was you who posted the "Whatchadointhisweekend" post!

Not much happening this weekend. I might buy my first digital camera (get prepared for lots of pictures
default_smile.png
) Saterday and the Sunday my mom, sister, brother, Veranika (my "summer sister" from Belarus), and I will be driving out to Pittsburg which is where Veranika is leaving from on Monday, I really don't want her to leave!!

It is so nice to see you post this again Marty! You and your family will are in my thoughts this AM.

It is to darn hot and dry to do much around here, so I am going to remodel my office, new paint, some new furniture, was the floor, OK scrub the floor, and find a new place for everything besides the top of my desk.

Marty so good to have you back asking the question again! I think it is wonderful that Michaels girlfriend is helping you so much.... like having a daughter maybe? Michael will love it that she is there and that you both are going to work on the garden etc. Seems like this is hay weekend for alot of people. I just get mine 3 bales at a time we use so little of it. That lasts me about a month. WE may be trying to body clip little Drummer this weekend with his new "nana's" help. She comes to work with him every day. I enjpy seeing how happy he makes her. Barry is working on plans for an addition to the house for a puppy room and office , he probably wants the kitchen back! lol. Church as usual sunday morning and afternoon and my whole family here for dinner.

HAve a blessed weekend everyone....even little Timmy!

I hope he rots in jail, Marty.

As for me and the stable this weekend. Tomorrow morning we'll be out early exercising the horses before the heat sets in. MOm is determined to get fencing done tomorrow even if we all die of heat stroke. :new_shocked: So we'll be fencing too....

then late afternoon I get my new almost 4 month old palomino colt :aktion033: I am buying him from Sue Berg, who is just down the road from us. I think my mom is getting gmore hens and a rooster from her too. We have so many chickens..LOL.

To celebrate my new colt, my fiance is cooking up ribs for everyone. I think my aunt (justjinx) is cooking corn on the cob to go with the ribs.

sunday my aunt and mom me and fiance are going to go visit my grandma.

I'll be sure to visit with my new colt lots also

I'll be praying this man gets exactly what he deserves this morning!!!

TODAY: Cashing in all my change and going over to the Senica County Fair and watch some horse classes and then come back home because its supose to rain so i'll only stay a few hours if that. Doing horse chores and watching movies tonight.

SATURDAY: Going over the Sandusky co. fairgrounds to get my trailer pass, parking pass and week pass for our fair which i'm showing. I also have to decide if im going to be taking Harley or not bc if im scratching his class i have to do it then or its $10 to get out of it. I'll see what happens, most likely i wont take him this yr and i'll keep his stall for a tack/grooming area. Horse chores and working on my website.

SUNDAY: I have no idea, whatever happens happens i guess . Prob will do allot of work with the horses and take them all for walks, i'm sure they want some grass since they've been sticking there head through the fence and everytime somebody walks by they all come running drooling thinking someone is going to give them a handfull of grass .

Supose to go to a friends birthday party both saturday and sunday. Saturday its at dani's dads ...sunday is her mom's house. I'll have to see what happens though.

I also need to go pick up my class schedule for this year and pick up all my senior things they give out at the beginning of the year (shirts, hats ext). I'll prob put that off untill about a week before school starts, no need to be reminded now of what is a month away :bgrin.

Oh Marty...welcome back. Keeping all of Michael's loved ones in my thoughts and prayers. {{{HUGS}}}

I am so looking forward to this weekend...this week...and next weekend.....because I am going to Virginia. Going to touch and feel and smell and hug and just love my four horses. Also giving baths to all the horses and taking pictures for updating of registrations on Pepper Dolls Fred and MHA Bandaleer Painted Illusion, they both have turned five and are going permanent. Even though I am not breeding anymore I do want to keep their papers up to date.

I have also been busy working on some major Christmas presents for family. So it will be nice to walk away from them for a week and return refreshed and ready to work again. I am hoping to visit a couple of friends and the horses that I sold to them one day this coming week...and to meet Pepper Dolls Fred's daughter.

:saludando: Our Marty is back! This is a clean up clutter weekend. There are enough catalogs around to fill a garbage bin. Need to filter out all but most recent. There has to be well over 100 of them. At least that is the goal. Everyone have a great weekend!

Let's see...

Today - Hopefully, I'll be picking up my special order pallet of grass hay pellets (ordered it before I knew I would have so much hay). Tried to work with my AQHA gelding this morning; took him for a walk instead of undersaddle roundpen work, we have a change of weather coming, so they are all acting goofy).

Tomorrow - My MIL and I are going to an auction, one of the local small town schools closed its doors, so they are auctioning off all the supplies and equipment. I'm hoping to find an office chair without arms for my sewing table (the kitchen chair just doesn't cut it).

Sunday - Don't know yet, but if it's nice, I'll try working my AQHA gelding again.

HUGE HUGS Marty!!!!! So glad to see you posting this thread!!!!! (actually it brought tears to my eyes
