All I thought of have been said, but I am saying them again!!

Egyptian King

Buckeroo

Rowdy

Catch

Orion Light Vant Huttenest

Gold Melody Boy is a good one

Still thinking

I agree with many of the horses listed - some beautiful stallions for sure!!!!! I think that our multi National Champion Thunders True Copy is an excellent representative of a black horse - look how shiny he is in this photo!!!!!

For apps, I do think Vader, Piano Man, and Catch are great examples, but I have to include our own Wolrd Champion Thousand Oaks Yashicas Monet as an example of a near leopard or extended blanket. While his chest appears a little light in this photo, it is just the accent lighting used in the shot. Monet is always nice and black.

And here's a great example of a buckskin pinto, National Champion ERL Voltaire For The Record ("Wrecker")

Well, I think Destiny is a great representation of his color, smokey silver black, and you do not see horses of his color all that often

Jill, In the photo above I'm seeing small white markings. Is he a minimal pinto??

Hi, Candice --

No, Destiny's solid color. I think those were just a little boo-boos on him

At Erica's he got to be a horse 1/2 of the year when he was showing and those pics were outside of the first show of the season if I remember right. He probably had a bite or two from one of his friends. Now that he's "retired", he's living like a horse 24/7 at my place this year and at Erica's next year. I think he loves it

Thanks for all the input! That will help me get my project started. I may post later with more specific color questions and updates.
