WHO'S GEARING UP FOR WATCHING THE OLYMPICS?

Do you like to watch the Olympics and what are some of your very favorite sports for the winter Olympics to watch? What don't you like to watch?

I like the ice skating-especially singles and pairs. The Luge and snowboarding and sometimes the skiing and long jump skiing. I don't like hockey.

I'll probably follow the Equestrian events, but really not anything else. Worried about security in light of the general atmosphere in the first place and then the scary threats. In one way, I wish "we" (USA) wasn't going, but I know how long our Olympians have worked towards this event, and for some of them, there won't be a 2nd chance to do it again. Praying it all goes well with no violence.

PS will there be equestrian events at this one? I don't know

No equestrian events at this one. It's the Winter Olympics. Summer Olympics have the equestrian. I always get ticked off then. We only get local programing, so we see none to little equestrian. We can't get cable out here and decided dish was just an extra expenditure for now.

Ya, nope! I am not a fan of sports in general, really don't give a dang about winter sports in particular and then there is the other stuff with this particular Olympics. Like Jill, I wish our athletes had sat this one out. In spite of the time and expense of training and the sad fact some would not get to go next time, I am very concerned there will be trouble. There are threats already and I don't feel confidant that Russia has the necessary security measures in place to keep them safe.

Love the opening and closing ceremonies, and then love a lot of the different competition. The skating, sledding, skiing, really enjoy it all.

I love the winter olympics. I love watching it all. Love the speed skating, snowboarding, the luge events, the skating, the skiing, the snowmobiles…just all of it!

I have been watching the x-games forever and can't wait to see these Olympians from around the world compete.

I also hope that everything stays safe for everyone over there.

I don't watch winter, but I love summer. I love seeing the equestrian events, diving, gymnastics, and pole vaulting.

I'll watch the equestrian events in the summer Olympics, but don't watch any part of the winter ones…in fact, I 'suffer' through the over-two-weeks of reruns on most of my favorite TV due to no one wanting to try to 'compete' for the viewership….:-( !! Thanks goodness for the few shows that I love that do put forth first-run shows…like "The Following" and, just returned, "The Walking Dead"!!
