I just can't believe it, ABC is cancelling All My Children and One Life to Live. when I was working we saved our tip money to buy a TV so we could keep up. Now that I'm retired I don't get to even listen every day as I'm out with the horses most of the time, but I keep the TV on and try to keep up at least watching one show at least once a week. If miss something I can get it on Soap channel. I can't believe that the ratings are so low that they need to cancel my soaps. What kind of programing are they planning on replacing them with? Reality, Talk? Give me a break! What is going to happen to Erica Kane,Is Pine Valley going to be distroyed? What about LLanview is a tornado going to take them all out. Well now that I'm retired and can't have my soaps that by the way I've been watching since I was a young mom, when they first started, I'll have to create my own drama!

NBC keeps threatening to cancel Days od Our Lives. It is the only one I watch. They better not keep messing with things or people will just watch what is on cable.

I myself am quiet devastated. I have been watching both for 30 years.....all through HS and work, I tape (well, now dvr) daily. I hear the show are going to be replaced by a health talk show and and cooking talk show? Yeah. that's what we want, more talk shows.

Good thing is, ABC advertisers are pulling out. In a HUGE move, Hoover (as in the vacum) has pulled out of ALL ABC advertising. Yes, ALL. Ha! Maybe the "powers that be" will listen to the fans. Maybe, but probably not.

They already have Rachel Rae and the View, maybe I should start an e-mail campaign. to stop this insanity!

I am the other network, we already lost Guiding Light and As The World Turns in the last couple of years. I am down to Y & R only *sigh* been watching so long, I remember when Victoria was born on Y & R and I remember the first time Holden was on ATWT.

I heard about this too and was shocked!!!! I am not a Y&R fan, but know plenty of people who watch it daily!

I remember when they cancelled Another World and wondered what was going on!! LOL

I am ashamed to admit that I have been a GH fan for....over 20 years....I've taken a few breaks from watching it, but I always get drawn back!

We lost Young the the Restless a few years ago to Pay TV. Shoot, I remember when Nicky and Victor first met. I remember when Jill was a teenager before she even met Mr Chancellor. Remember Chipper? (one of Jill's brothers) Was that David Hasselhoff? Remember Christine when she was in highschool, modelling for Jabot? What was her nickname? Cricket!! Yay!

I feel so OLD.

THEY have no right to take away our old friends. NO RIGHT, I say..

We lost General Hospital eons ago and that's where McGiver got his start for heavens sake. He was so young and so darn CUTE.

I have to stop I'm depressing myself.
