First that is an outstanding colt Charlotte!

You have the record as far as I am concerned. I have had the Breeder Alert on for as little as a couple of hours, but never just a few minutes! You are lucky indeed that you followed your gut.

I always figure having the Breeder Alert halter alarm on them is an insurance policy. No harm done and if they bag up overnight I am covered.

That colt's a winner in color for sure! We need more pictures.

Shucks I've had a few that were so short I missed the entire thing, does that count? LOL

Congrats on your cute new baby!!

Pretty Boy!!!!

A few years back I had one mare on alert, another in stall by her. She went down to foal and I went out to barn. She foaled quickly and without issue. Checked mare in next stall while waiting for foal to nurse, etc. Pretty tight bag!

Foal had done all he needed, mare fine, my time to go back into house. Decided I needed to put her alert on.....So, took the halter/alert from new mom & put it on other mare (who had not been bagged this well previously, so no alert on yet but, cam on) thinking that I had been lucky and was saving a trip to the house for another alert. Told them both good night and proceeded to the house. On back porch (it's about 150' from barn), the buzzer goes off. I'm thinking crazy mare is rubbing her head. Reset, it goes of again, back to barn and she's down and pushing.

Guess she wanted to be part of the action...delivered a nice foal within a few minutes. Believe that was the last year I did any planned breeding............
