I rode at my first event last weekend. It was like being a film star lol, my Mum had a photographer there to take pictures of me at every angle lol. I entered in 60cm which is about 2 feet I think and look, she may as well be jumping a metre lol. Our dressage was okay, and our showjumping and crosscountry were fantastic, we were flying!! Overall I came 4th at my first ODE so I was soooo proud of myself and my horse. What do you think of our style?? I reckon it is pretty darned high lol. Everyone has told me my line from elbow, hand to bit was great, what do you think, please critique!!

Geez! Talk about an overjump! It's hard to tell about you position with this angle, but you could put your arms a little farther forward. If you did that, and sort of "sunk" into your saddle, your knees would not turn into the saddle, and you would have a more secure seat. But since everyone told you that your arms look great, you were probably taught differently than I was, I was always told to put my arms up farther on the neck. Of course, his/her overjump probably threw you off, I know it would catch me off guard. :bgrin
