Lets see, we have Muslim, we have Arab, they tried to portray him as a monkey, we have "linked to terrorists" and now we have "socialist/marxist"

At a rally Friday in West Chester, Ohio, where one banner in the crowd read, "Obama is a Socialist/Marxist," Palin said, "Joe suggested that that sounded a little bit like socialism. Whatever you call it, I call it bad medicine for an ailing economy, and it's what Barack Obama will do to those who want to create jobs, and we're willing to call Barack Obama on it."

When will this insanity end

Oh yes almost forgot he has also been labeled the anti-christ

I truly hope McCain wins because I shudder to think what is going to happen if he doesn't.

McCain accuses Obama of socialism, even though his own health care tax credit is refundable--and therefore a distribution of wealth downward...Of course, McCain has been on the record for months--years, actually--in favor of redistributing wealth...upward, toward the wealthy, on the theory that it will "trickle down."

It continues to amaze me how strenuously people who don't live in America keep trying to convince us what's right for our country. I sure wish you folks would tell us what and how much you have at stake in this election. How will an increase or decrease in American taxes affect you? How will it affect you if share the wealth becomes a reality? I'm not trying to be rude (as a matter of fact I try not to be) but I really doubt that you'd be terribly enthused with us telling you over and over again how to run your country. This is our barn - we're merely trying to see that it's run the way we think it should be.
