But need to ask for good thoughts and prayers. My 72 year old mom was diagnosed with H1N1 today. She is a lung cancer survivor and only has one lung, so it has hit her pretty hard. Started her on tons of things today including steroids for her lung. They are keeping a very close eye on her as her heart doesn't like steroids,,,but that lung has to have them.

Thanks again, yet again. I appreciate all your thoughts.

I would ask for prayers for my mom too. She is 74 on the 10th of November. I will keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know when she is better. H1N1 is a bad thing to get. Is your mom in the hospital? I hope she is not that bad and I hope she does not get that bad. Keep us posted.

Thank you all so much. Not much of an update as she remains the same. It is hard for her to breath so she fights it, as it scares her. They have given her something to keep her calm as well, it has helped some.

Hoping for some kind of a turn around tomorrow.

I am sorry your mom has this horrible flu and we will definitely include her in our nightly prayers.

Right now, my daughter is very sick with a flu. She says her chest is killing and it hurts her

to breathe. We will be going to the doctors tomorrow and also buying a bunch of onions (see Marnie's Post)

We also have an employee with a child that has test positive for H1N1.

Wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It has been a long few days but today she has finally showed signs of improving. She even slept for 6 hours straight today, she was exhausted as she wouldnt/couldnt sleep due to having trouble breathing. She woke up and said, it's what time! If she goes the rest of the day with no fever, she will be home tomorrow.

My daughter is still running a fever and coughing up a lung but overall she is having a much easier time breathing. Thank you for asking.
