So how do I get into my You Tube account WITHOUT linking to me Google account??? Is there a way to get beyond that screen?

I don't know. It made me do that a few months ago. I didn't even know I had a google account, but eventually came up with the correct password to get things going with YouTube again.

Why is it important to keep them separate? I'm not thrilled with all the merging and as Jill said it can be a pain to try and remember which password to use but I couldn't think of another reason why they shouldn't be all one account.
