It's been awhile since we "played this" and another thread inspired me. I love to hear neat names for horses and have a long list of names I want to use in the future.

It would be fun to hear the names of your horses that you like the best!

We had a quarter horse whose registered name was "Look At Me Shine" - I thought that was a great name. Also had a quarter horse mare named "Requested Encore". I thought those were both great names for show horses.

I usually use song titles for my foals and I have plans on naming a gelding Great Balls of Fire one day.

Candid Cameron (Candy)

I like to either use the stud's initials or part of their name in the foal name and then start the other name with the same initial as Mum

For instance

Sire Dazzle --------------Mum Mitzie

foal is Dazzlin Montezuma (Monty)

I've always thought that was one of the most original names I've ever heard. The farm he comes from has Nakid in almost all their horses names.
