    where you from? About yourself?

Hi! Welcome. I was born and raised in SoCal, but have spent the last 13 years in Nebraska.I'm married and I have a four year old boy and a six week old girl. On our little acreage, we have three minis,a dozen fainting goats, three dogs, six cats and wayyyy too many roosters. I used to ride...

Thank you for the compliments! I could not believe how much has happened. Hopefully now I can go back to my rather mundane existance.

One more thing...I now own the collie! Some of you may recall my post from months before (or not). He's mine! Here's Laddie: (came with the name)

    September- Crazy Month

What a month! If I didn't have pictures, even I wouldn't believe it. September 1st: Wonderful day! My daughter Gracie Lou was born. September 13th: Not so great. A severe thunderstorm sent golfball- to softball- sized hailstones ripping through our little town, destroying any car or house...

    Barn spiders

Eeeeewww. I hate spiders but I'm much too afraid to squish them. I might miss and tick them off. Then they'd come and get me.

My poor critters are all mixed up

Loved the story. Everyone has got to have someone (or something) to love. Sounds like your critters are characters just like mine are.

    Could use some prayers

Prayers headed your way Accept the help... and don't worry you won't ALWAYS need it. It's hard to let someone else take care of your kids for an hour, a day, a week, or more, but they'll be okay and you can read them stories, watch movies with them, watch them draw pics- you get the idea. That...

    Houdini

Duct tape? Other than that I have no idea. I, too owned a Houdini(biggie) that cost me a couple hundred dollars in blankets until I gave up on them.

    Just for fun

I usually use it for a temporary fencing fix, but I have been known to wear it as a belt, too.

    Is it a sin...

Just a small update: Laddie (of course that would be a male collie's name) has been staying in the house with us for about a week to see how he gets along with my other two dogs and to see if the whole living arrangement will work out. So far, he is not officially mine, but things are going...

    What are your thought, please?

Tough question. I had a thoroghbred, a relatively calm one, whom I adored but I decided to give him up and keep my mini when I found I was pregnant. My TB needed more time and exercise than I would be able to give him for a long time. Your friend's horse may need more attention than she can...

    Is it a sin...

She's kind of hemming and hawing about making a decision- she's got to talk to her husband and talk to the vet who originally rescued him. I'm going to ask her again today. The dog keeps escaping from the kennel and waiting at my door, so we kept him in our house last night. He needs a good...

    Is it a sin...

Well, I asked. She seems amenable to the idea, but wanted to talk to her husband first. Katiean- I too think she has bitten off more than she can chew. She does care and has the best of intentions, but does not have the time to give all of her animals the one on one time they need. Sue- My...
