    Multi mini hitches

I drive up to 6-in-hand and a team of 4-in-hand in CDE's. My favorite is tandem. What do you would like to know? Where to begin? What book to read?

Woke up to a sad morning

I am so sorry for your loss. But I think a actually healthy newborn foal who has dried up wouldn't freeze to death. I think that this little foal was ill or something wasn't right. Still a huge loss. So sorry.

    Silver Dapple Vs Palomino Foal

I mean as a new born foal. All silver foals I have seen so far have got stripes on their hooves. When they get older, the hooves will become solid most of the time.

    Silver Dapple Vs Palomino Foal

I have understood that silver dapple foals have dark stripes on their hooves, don't they? Some of mine had even stripes like a zebra on their legs.

My new black pinto stud playing outside

His color is awesome. Do you want to show him or is he for breeding only?

    Lengthening without rushing

For a good advice I would like to know what the pony is doing in training right now? Is she/he well balanced and bend to both sides? Have you heard about the 'Skala der Ausbildung'? If she/he goes with rythm, subtleness and bends to both sides well (Anlehnung) then I would work her with some...

    Hypothetical Question

I have to agree with all postings. If I were in your shoes I only breed her if you want to keep that foal. Breeding is risky and expensive, but it is a whole different thing to buy a weanling than having the foal the first day of his life. I think that selling that foal wouldn't bring the...

    Red Bag Delivery

I felt like my heart stood still while reading... but in the end a very nice filly. Thank God.

    Eraquell and equimax tabs

I have tried them both and I think there are awkward. The horses didn't eat them. I won't take them anymore. I lke the pastes. With horses who don't seem to easy deworm we use homoepathic remedies if this is what you mean.

    European driving VS USA driving

I think the difference is that there are totaly different tests. You don't have pleasure driving or country pleasure in Europe. Here you only will find dressage driving, cones and marathon. There isn't such thing in AMHA or AMHR BUT there are CDE's in the US too. I take different equipment for...

    Micro Chips

In Europe every horse born after june 1st 2010 has to be micro chipped by legal. There is no alternative but you can get a branding too. IMO chipping is more nicely for the foals and you can read/see them all the time. A branding you wouldn't see at winter for example. We used mocro chipped for...

    I bought a horse today for $25

    Pinto Registration Question

I would like to know if the pedigree starts 'blank' if I hardship a stallion with pinto.org? Or do they accept the pedigree? Does anyone know?

Need Help Please! Mare Literally Starving Herself!

Last winter our 36-year old gelding refuesed to eat too. We have treated him with Vitamin B12, B6 and B1 injections plus less often Selenium injections (but I don't know if there is in the US a Selenium deficency also). It works also great for foals too. They start eating right now. Last spring...

    Pinto Question

I have looked up OCAP and this sounds interesting. I have mailed pinto.org but they didn't answer until now if there are all shows in Germany (breeding/halter, driving, endurance) sanctioned by Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN) member of FEI are eligible for OPAC? Does anyone know? If yes...

Can someone do an AMHR lookup for me?

Don't they update horsestudbook.com anymore? Never ever? Is there anything in progress?
