Hey anyone want to add up the years of donkey experience we have on this forum? That would be way nicer to know than our ages : Kinda like "My name is Sandy & my donkey addiction has been with me for most of my life but I really succombed (sp?) to the beast in the last 6-7 years :lol...

I have found that the suckling size for horses fits minis best but each manufacturer is different. My donkeys don't have nicely fitting halters & I own a tack shop!!! It is quite frustrating & to buy sight unseen on Ebay....well best of luck! Someone posted a info page on fitting donkey...

That is hilarious!! :lol: We have a mare who enjoys a good belly scratch too. She sits down tucking one leg/hoof under her & kinda rubs her butt around. Looks really odd but I discovered she was just has a real itchy spot. I did worry about her when she seemed to be having difficulties...
